The Society of Illustrators is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.
Measures We Take to Support Accessibility

- Reviewing new features for accessibility impact before release
- Prioritizing accessibility fixes as part of ongoing maintenance and roadmap planning

Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for improving accessibility. They include three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. The Society of Illustrators Competitions website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, meaning some parts of the content do not fully conform.
Known Limitations
- Some images may not yet contain complete alternative text
- Certain form elements may not have full visible or programmatic labels
- Some interactive components may not fully support keyboard navigation
We are actively working to resolve these issues as part of our ongoing improvement plan.
